MR physics concerns with the methodological foundations of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Here, steady state free precession (SSFP) sequences are of particular scientific interest
due to their inherent complexity and their pivotal role in rapid and quantitative 
imaging.

A primary focus of our work therefore lies on unveiling the mathematical properties
of rapid SSFP sequences and to apply this knowledge to develop new or improve existing 
quantitative imaging techniques.
